Stone & Sleeper Retaining Walls β Lyme Regis
Stone and timber sleeper retaining walls constructed in Lyme Regis to support the sloping garden and create clearly defined, usable planting areas.
This barn at Harcombe, Uplyme was a full renovation project carried out over 10 months.
We removed the existing cobbled floor and replaced it with a new insulated concrete slab, including a damp-proof membrane throughout. The front support was rebuilt with new foundations and a new stone wall, along with studwork and doors fitted to support the wall plate.
The roof was stripped of tin and replaced with reclaimed slate, finished with lead ridges and electric Velux windows. Stonework was also repointed where required.
The result is a solid, well-structured renovation, completed properly from start to finish.
