Garage Rebuild & Stonework in Hinton St George
This project involved removing an ageing double garage and replacing it with a completely new structure in Hinton St George. The original building had a worn rendered exterior and corrugated roof, so a full rebuild provided the best opportunity to create a more attractive and durable result.
The replacement garage was designed to suit the character of the surrounding property, combining traditional stonework, timber cladding and a slate roof with practical new doors and improved access.
A Complete Garage Replacement
Following the removal of the old garage, the site was prepared for the new structure. The build included new masonry walls, structural timber roof construction and carefully detailed external finishes.
Natural stone was used on the side elevations, while horizontal timber cladding gives the front of the garage a clean, traditional appearance. A new slate roof provides long-term weather protection and complements the materials used elsewhere on the property.
The surrounding ground was also improved with stone edging and paving to create a tidier, more practical approach to the garage. The completed building is more secure, better suited to the property and built for long-term use.
