What started as an ageing holiday chalet became a striking modern coastal home. This complete new build replaced the original structure with a contemporary timber frame property designed to maximise natural light, available space and comfortable seaside living.
The project began with the careful demolition and removal of the existing chalet, followed by extensive groundwork and the construction of new foundations. From there, our team built the new timber frame structure and managed each stage of the development through to the final external finishes.
The completed chalet features a modern standing seam roof, low-maintenance composite cladding, aluminium glazing and large sliding doors that help create a bright and open interior. A bespoke steel balcony was also installed to complete the front elevation and make the most of the surrounding views.
