New Build Garage in Lyme Regis
Completed in 2014, this project involved constructing a new detached garage in Lyme Regis. The work was managed from the initial site preparation and structural build through to the roof, exterior finish and installation of the garage doors.
The garage was positioned within a sloping site, requiring careful groundwork and coordination with the surrounding retaining walls. The result is a practical, substantial new building that fits naturally within the property and its landscaped setting.
Constructed From the Ground Up
The project began with preparing the site and creating a stable base for the new structure. The walls were then constructed before the timber roof frame was formed and completed as part of the wider roofing work.
Careful planning was needed throughout because of the changes in ground level around the building. The garage and adjacent retaining structures were coordinated so that the finished construction remained practical, secure and suited to its location.
