Stone & Sleeper Retaining Walls in Lyme Regis
This project involved constructing stone and timber sleeper retaining walls in Lyme Regis to transform a steeply sloping garden into a more practical, attractive and easier-to-maintain outdoor space.
By carefully managing the changing ground levels, we created strong retaining structures that provide long-term stability while improving access, planting areas and the overall appearance of the garden.
Retaining Walls Built to Last
Sloping gardens require careful planning. Retaining walls need to support the surrounding ground while coping with changing weather and ground conditions, making the quality of the groundwork and construction particularly important.
For this project, we combined traditional natural stone with timber sleeper walls to create strong retaining structures that sit naturally within the garden. The combination allowed us to manage the different levels while creating clearly defined and more usable areas.
Traditional Stonework & Landscaping
